Behavior Slip In order to best manage our class, if students break the school code they will be asked to stay in at recess time to fill out a behavior slip that will help them to reflect on the habits that promote learning. It will also offer a time for a child to talk privately with the teacher about what is happening during class time without interrupting instructional time devoted to learning. When a child has filled out a behavior slip they will bring it home and ask a parent to sign it. This ensures that parents are also aware of problems and therefore able to talk with their child about their choices.
